May 12th – I make no apologies for doubling up on yesterday’s
post…yesterday's post...I seem to remember a band we used to gig with called Today’s Post; where
are they now? I recall an incident involving a bass player, a girl, an upstairs
dressing room with a fire escape that led onto a flat roof, a disturbed act of
‘flagrante delicto’ and a twenty-foot drop…another time... Back to yesterday’s
post concerning the Jimi Hendrix Experience and
today’s notable fact:
On this day in 1967 the Jimi Hendrix
Experience released the ‘Are You Experienced’ album (on which both Mitch
Mitchell and Noel Redding played, I hasten to add) and changed my musical horizon
and life forever…erm, that’s it really; just thought you should know.
